I see a fishy!
βArt Park Mosaic River,β completed in August 2016, is a mosaic mural in the patio of the Central Square Art Park at 100 Lewis Street. The mosaic is represents the headwaters of the American River, which continues on down Lincoln Way in the mosaic murals Sierra to the Sea and Sierra to the Sea, Part 2.
Constructed of commercial and handmade tiles, this was truly a team project created by collaborators Lee Buckingham, Brian Fries, Katy Fries, Molly Fries, Elizabeth Gilogoly, Fiona Gilogoly, Ryan Goodpastor, Maureen Murphy, Michael Kent Murphy, Chuck Rust, Kathleen Sailor; and Kristin Thomas.
